Scenario
You are exploring your great uncle's house, who was a treasure hunter, and entered in the hope
of finding valuables.  Unfortunately, the house is very old, and the lounge door jammed shut
unexpectedly.

Walk Through
(Start in north/south hallway), EXAMINE TABLE, S (lounge), EXAMINE FISHBOWL, EXAMINE FISH, S (the
door is jammed shut), OPEN DOOR (definitely jammed!), EXAMINE CHAIR, SIT IN CHAIR (very comfortable
but no help), STAND UP, N, N (great uncle's bedroom), EXAMINE BED, EXAMINE FLOOR (see a worn
spot, but it's not much help), EXAMINE FURNITURE, EXAMINE BOOKCASE (note the fake books),
EXAMINE BOOKS (glued together but one is loose), GET LOOSE BOOK (leaves a dark hole), EXAMINE LOOSE
BOOK (Murphy's Laws of Interactive Fiction), READ BOOK, GET LANTERN (from the bed), EXAMINE
LANTERN (off), SWITCH ON LANTERN, EXAMINE HOLE (dark), ENTER GAP (you don't fit, but you
discover that there is a room behind the bookcase), MOVE BOOKCASE (reveals a dark passage to the
east).

EXAMINE PLANT (find a rusty key), EXAMINE POT, EXAMINE KEY (old and rusty), E (treasure vault where
you see your uncle's treasure chest), EXAMINE CHEST, UNLOCK CHEST WITH RUSTY KEY, OPEN CHEST
(reveals a gold crown), GET CROWN, WEAR CROWN (oh well, worth a try!), W, TURN OFF LAMP, S (door is
jammed shut), EXAMINE WINDOW (leads to a fire escape), OPEN WINDOW, ENTER WINDOW.
