If you go south, you'll fall into a lion trap and die, so head north again to the undergrowth.
Cut the undergrowth and there's a new way through to the east. Drop the knife.
Go east and east to a dark cave. Take the axe.
Go south and unlock the door. Drop the key.
Go in to a narrow passage and take the plank of wood.
Go north to the secret laboratory and take the rope.
Go south, west, north, west, west and south back to the footpath.
Drop the plank over the lion trap.
Head north to take the knife and then back south.
Go south and chop down a tree. Make a raft from the logs and rope.
Drop the rope and sail the raft. Wait and then go east and east.
Go up and east into the branches of the tree.
Go down and east to the plateau.
Take the paper and read it.
Jump down to the mountain track.
Go east and kill the crocodile with the knife.
Swim the river.
You made it back safely.
