Synopsis

Plot

Mr Seguin had six goats that were all eaten by the wolf after tasting the freedom of the mountains. The seventh, Blanquette, is well treated by her master, but she too starts to get bored and wants to taste the freedom of the mountains. This game follows Blanquette's adventures to find freedom and the consequences of her actions.

Notes

This was an entry in Text Adventure Literacy Jam 2023 where it placed 8th out of 9 entries. The game can be downloaded from the itch.io game page.

This is based on 'La Chèvre de monsieur Seguin', a story by French novelist Alphonse Daudet.

The initial release of the game was for z-machine but a later version was produced for C64 using The Quill. The C64 version does not feature the tutorial section.
