Synopsis

There's an abandoned house down the lane from where you live. Normally, you don't notice it, but lately the yard's autumn trees have been bare, so you can see the house through the branches when you walk by. You've started losing sleep at night thinking about the house. Up until now, you've resisted entering the house, as the neighbours say the floor is so weak that you'd fall through and get trapped in the basement. One particularly restless night, you decide that you can't take it any more. You have to go and investigate.

This was an entry in ECTOCOMP 2024, where it placed 6th out of 19 entries in the La Petite Mort category.

The competition version is version 1.0.0. This was updated after the competition to version 2.0.0, then 2.2.0. The original and the latest version can be downloaded and the latest version played online at itch.io.
