Synopsis

You are Mike Erlin, Captain of the Federation of Sentient Planets (FSP) Starship Excelsior. Your ship was surveying a newly-discovered solar system in the Aquarius sector when it was attacked by a small armada of warships and, after a fierce and one-sided battle, blown to pieces.

Most of the crew managed to escape using the lifeboats and escape pods. You yourself were near one of your ship's shuttlecraft when the Excelsior was evacuated, so you leapt aboard and launched it into space just before the Excelsior was exploded in pieces!

Unfortunately, the shuttlecraft sustained damage from the blast and eventually it crash-landed on one of the planets of the solar system, which one of your planetologists had christened Mazoomah.

You were fortunately uninjured in the crash-landing but, unless you can repair your damaged shuttlecraft, you are...
