Synopsis

Long ago and far away there once lived a beautiful princess named Emmeline. She was so beautiful that all the princes from far and wide flocked to win her hand in marriage, but she refused them all.

One terrible day, word came to the king telling of a mighty dragon making his home in the northern hills. As everyone knows, dragons love the taste of princesses more than anything. The only way to save the kingdom would be to give the princess to the dragon in return for the freedom of the people.

The king sent word to all the princes and young men of noble birth asking for their help in ridding the land of the dragon. Their reward would be the princess as their wife.

The princess was horrified. Was her only choice to be eaten or married to one of these boring, spotty, grinning princes? Not one of them even knew a decent knock–knock joke.

She decided that she would have to deal with the dragon herself.
