Synopsis

Plot

Every age has its ultimate hero and DEEK McDEEK was the one for this time. Armed with only a selection of five 'useful' items, DEEK must make his way back through time to the Medieval age and once there utilise all his undoubted skills to rid Acton Trussell of the evil "REG THE BAD" ... local 'head honcho' and part-time pet torturer.

Such was the brief laid down by the 'powers-that-be' at RETROCHRONE, the establishment that young Deek had just joined. An organisation dedicated to ridding the 'Past' of evil, disease and Mike Yarwood (in that order). So set out now, along with young Deek, to those thrilling days of yester-year and see if you can assist him to dispose of the evil "REG THE BAD" and make Acton Trussell a safer place for hamsters and gerbils alike.

Notes

'Bass-On' was not the publisher of this game but rather a pen-name that Jason used for writing games.

At least two different variants of the game exist in the online archives. Jason also produced additional versions, using the Patch, and a later version with the PAW; but these were not published.

(Trivia: One of the puzzles involves getting your phone to ring by dialling 174... This was an automated operator service that would ring you back and tell you your number.)
