Synopsis
You're the apprentice of the great wizard Zaranol. When he goes off on a journey, you try a little magic and accidentally conjures forth a nasty demon, which then proceeds to put a curse on you.
With the help of your friend, Lan, your task is to banish the demon and remove the curse.

An early example of the "sorcerer's apprentice" genre, this time done seriously. Some vocabulary quirks, but consistently used. Puzzles are slightly obscure but less difficult than they look at first sight. In the end it is too limited, though the ideas are fine.
