Synopsis

Plot

You play the part of Madeline, a female IF writer. You have come to PAX East to see the panel on interactive fiction. There's a crowd of ten thousand people crushing you between the barriers and signs, and they're all trying to get into the same convention centre. Fortunately, you've managed to get to the front of the line. Unfortunately, so did Brody. Brody is an arsehole (or "asshole" if you're an American).
You can see that there's only one seat left on the panel, but the burly security guard won't let you in. What can you do? You've got to get that last seat before Brody.

Notes

This was an entry in PAX Speed-IF. The title is a combination of "queue" and "cruelty". You have a large collection of magic spells at your disposal. The names of the spells are based on those in the Enchanter trilogy, but the effects are sometimes different.
