Originally written for the Vic-20 with 8KB memory pack, it was later produced for the C64.

Translated author's comments, taken from Branko's Text Adventure Homepage...

In the early eighties I decided to write a text adventure in Dutch for the VIC-20 and the Commodore 64. I sold the game on cassette tape at computer fairs throughout the Netherlands and also abroad by mail order. Based on the reactions I received, it appeared that it has been played a lot, an (illegal) translation has been made into English and that it has been adapted and sold on.

I programmed the game for the VIC-20 with a cassette player, so right after the introduction of the VIC-20. If I have to estimate it now, Colditz dates from 1981.
