Produced by Australian adventure author Joel Finch (author of The Multi-Dimensional Thief and co-author of Whatever We Decide to call This Game) the Text Game Compiler (TGC) was his attempt at producing "the king of all text game creators".
Written in assembly, it featured text & graphics (including clickable buttons and a compass rose), mouse support, and a complex parser with NPC commands.
It was due to be released as shareware in November '93.
Aside from the remake of the author's own The Multi-Dimensional Thief, no other games appear to be created with this system and it's unclear whether the planned release ever went ahead.
