This sci-fi detective game starts out excellent and stays like that for most of the time but near the end it seems a bit rushes with several bugs so I couldn't help wondering if a bug had locked me out of victory. I had practically solved every puzzle but I didn't know what to do. It turns out that in the end you need a verb which should have given useful responses throughout the game if it was implemented, but it didn't. Luckily, the game is equipped with a "walkthrough"-command which hinted this verb so I managed to finish the game.
So it's very entertaining and well done except for the bugged parts and the guess-the-verb sitatuation near the end.
You don't need a lot of verbs for this game so many verbs are not understood but that is no big deal. However, at some point you need the verb "use" which I think has become standard NOT to require, as it is a very general verb that could be used anywhere. Also, a verb is not really understood throughout the game, until the end. But a decent parser most of the time.
A well written sci-fi detective game.
I am not 100% sure if the game can become unwinnable but I don't think so.
The puzzles are mostly about information, i.e. ask people questions to get information so you can get more information from others etc., but there are also a few "inventory-puzzles". Overall, nice puzzles.
Despite the bugs near the end etc. I'm glad I played - it was very entertaining.
