You are on a secret mission though your are told little in the story.

There are some particular twists to this game. There are few things you 
can examine.  You frequently need to type REDESCRIBE or INVENTORY to 
know what you have as the descriptions in the text and the descriptions 
in your possession are not identical. 

There are more exits than those noted in the text. 

You need to use the verb TWIST rather than TURN (at the CO's office, at 
the black box, at the church).  

To get to the back of the plane you need to type THROUGH. 

You often have to die before you know what you should have done.

Although the game does not recognize WAIT, that is what you often have 
to do.

You have four books to choose from in the market. Buy Little Women 
(there is nothing in the game to indicate why this is the correct 
choice).

And lastly, there are several chance elements, especially toward the 
end where there is a randomly generated maze, with the chances of 
getting to the location you want ranging from 10 to 18 %.

INVENTORY (it's a suicide pill), W, S, GIVE TABLET (secretary falls),

coast of France approaching), THROUGH, LEAVE PLANE (you are in a

(until the chickens wander over), DROP GRAIN, (a chicken runs off), 
REDESCRIBE, TAKE EGG, LEAVE COOP, S, E, N, N, W (make sure the nurse 
leaves), OPEN SAFE (it is not in the text description but in the 
graphics), TAKE NEEDLE, E, S, S, S, W, S, W, N, N, EXAMINE PUDDLE, 
REMOVE PARACHUTE, DROP PARACHUTE, TAKE COIN, INVENTORY (it's a 5 franc 
piece).

Go S, S, W, W, W, (you see an annoyed SS officer), N, GIVE EGG, 
REDESCRIBE, TAKE SAUSAGES, S, E, E, INJECT SAUSAGES, E, E, E (you are 
in the market), S, S, N, EXAMINE BOOK (repeat until "Little Women" 
comes up), BUY BOOK, W, N, W, W, N, GIVE BOOK (you are given a note), 
READ NOTE (Pierre has been informed – be prepared), S, DROP NOTE, S, W, 
S, E, N (you meet the vicar, though it is not really necessary to do), 
E (you catch a movement from the alley), N, WAIT (follow the onion-
seller – he tells you they have dogs in the camp), S, WAIT, WAIT, E, 
WAIT, WAIT, S, S (you are at the undertaker's), ENTER COFFIN (Pierre 
closes it), WAIT (until you get the second message that it is "very 
quiet"), OPEN LID, TWIST CROSS (you see a passage down).

Go E, E, W, UP (it's dark), N (dogs run at you), DROP SAUSAGES, 
REDESCRIBE (dead dogs), W, TAKE HANDLE, E, E, TAKE TORCH, UP (you see a 
black box with a square hole), INSERT HANDLE, REDESCRIBE (it's an air 
siren), TWIST HANDLE (the people run for shelter, even the guards), 
DOWN, W, N, N, N, N, W, TAKE KEY, E, S, S, W, N, DOWN, TORCH ON, 
REDESCRIBE, TAKE COAT, WEAR COAT, UP, TORCH OFF, S, E, E, N, N (you 
will need to keep wandering around here until you get to the correct 
location which has a sign that says "keep cool"), TAKE TEST (it is 
equally random in getting out of the maze to the scientist), S, W, S, 
S, TORCH ON, S, DROP TEST (it starts to bubble), N, W, W, N, WAIT (you 
get a message that your mission has gone well), WAIT (until the log 
comes out), ON LOG, WAIT, OFF LOG, S, E, SIGN SUBMARINE. You are 
finished.
