You can play either by using the function keys to correspond to verbs, or by
typing the verbs. There are a few glitches in the game, but it is playable.
Hints:
Beware, this is a macabre game, with rather graphic descriptions.
Most objects you find are necessary, though the money doesn't really get you
anything. One the other hand, I did not get the maximum score.
Examine all objects, including some you think are not necessary. If you fail
to do so (especially of one very insignificant object), you will be stuck.
Solution:
You have been released from the mental hospital, are working at a menial job
and cannot support your wife, Julia in the way she would like. She has found
someone else who can. You have been depressed and contemplate suicide. You
decide on a divorce and plan to tell her. You begin in your apartment. Go E,

find it), USE HANGER (you break in and hide in the back seat). Stan and Julia
come out; he pulls a gun, grabs your crowbar and hits you. You awake in a
dark alley, near home. Stan says they were planning to kill you. He pulls out
a gun with a silencer. Julia goes up to your building and returns a few
minutes later. Stan tells you to follow Julia, who leads you up to the door
of the roof. USE WHIP. The whip and the gun fall to the floor. Stan hits you
with the crowbar; you take it and try to hit him. He picks up his gun, fires
it, and misses. You leap through the door leading to the third floor, shut
the door and see a chair.
MOVE CHAIR, W, W, W, W, USE CROWBAR. Inside the elevator you see a metal
grate with a light fixture, and metal handrails. You hear voices. USE
CROWBAR. You kill Stan with the crowbar. Julia screams, people notice and do
nothing. Julia picks up the gun. You throw the crowbar at her and she
collapses half-way through the elevator. USE HANDCUFFS, EXAMINE JULIA, USE
HANDCUFFS, TAKE GUN, USE SCARF, W, USE ROPE, E, EXAMINE BUTTON, USE BUTTON.
The elevator lowers and the rope on Julia's legs tightens. The handcuffs cut
into her wrists; blood spews everywhere, and she is dismembered. You slide
her wrists from the handcuffs and take her in your arms. You remove the scarf
and give her a kiss. You hold her and walk to the shaft and step in. You are
now together forever.
You are finished. Score: 235/250
