LOST PROPERTY

Scenario
You have to gather some "Lost Property," which is anything you find whose name is enclosed
in "asterisks" and return it to the Vice-Principal's office.
Notes
1. Played as a boy.
2. If you play as a girl, in order to get the key you must go to the girls toilet, OPEN PURSE,
EXAMINE PURSE, GET KEY. To get to the sickbay, CLIMB TREE in girls play area.
3. You can also get to the sickbay by the boy going into the girls toilets or the girl going into
the boys toilets.
4. The treasures should actually be taken to the Vice-Principal's room and dropped there to get
the final 10 points, but this part is bugged and the game ends after you collect the last item.

1. Gold Flute (play flute in music room).
2. Diamond Bracelet (in rubbish bin in schoolyard).
3. Amethyst Fish (add water to fishtank).
4. Emerald Brooch (in first-aid box in sickbay).
5. Gleaming Halo (in heaven).
6. Rare Poetry Book (on shelves in resource centre).
7. Valuable Computer Game (examine computer in computer area).
8. Rare Prime Number (examine computer a second time in computer area).
9. Autographed Baseball (on baseball diamond in dream).
10. Platinum Surfboard (floating in sea in dream).
11. Sapphire Ring (after eating gingerbread house in Magic Faraway Land).
12. Diploma (in giant field of poppies in Magic Faraway Land).
13. Silver Transistor (on circuit board inside computer).
Walk Through
(Start in the school computer room), INVENTORY (carrying dollar coins), EXAMINE COMPUTERS, W, N
(music room), PLAY TROMBONE, PLAY FLUTE (Pan appears and gives you a present), INVENTORY (now
carrying a gold flute), S, S, S, E (mathematics classroom), READ WRITING (on blackboard -
"magic word is ALGEBRA"), D (through trapdoor to secret cellar where students are in
chains, cages and leg-irons), FREE STUDENTS, U, W, W (schoolyard), EXAMINE BIN (being used as a
cricket wicket), OPEN BIN (contains a diamond bracelet), GET BRACELET, EXAMINE BRACELET, CLOSE BIN,
W (boys toilet), OPEN SCHOOLBAG (inside is a small key), GET KEY, E, N, W (canteen), BUY PIE,
EXAMINE PIE, E, E, S, E (science room), EXAMINE SNAKE (leave it), EXAMINE CUP (contains milk - leave
it), EXAMINE FISHTANK (dry and a fish seems to be flopping unhappily on the dry sand), TURN TAP (the
fish was a rare Saharan dust-swimmer and turns to stone when it gets wet), GET FISH, EXAMINE FISH
(amethyst).
W, S (foyer where there is a menacing lion), EXAMINE LION, FEED LION (with the meat pie... he goes
to sleep), W, S (grassy area set aside for girls), EXAMINE TREE (the girls beat you to a pulp and
you finish up in sickbay), EXAMINE BOX (for first-aid equipment), UNLOCK BOX WITH KEY, OPEN BOX
(contains an emerald brooch), GET BROOCH, U (in heaven where you see a gleaming halo), GET HALO
(thieves aren't allowed and you are kicked out), S, S, W, W, W, N (resource centre), EXAMINE
SHELVES (find a rare poetry book), GET BOOK, EXAMINE BOOK, N (computer area), EXAMINE COMPUTER (find
a valuable computer game), GET GAME, EXAMINE GAME, EXAMINE COMPUTER (find an interesting rare prime

W (darkened video room), EXAMINE VIDEO (a boring mathematics video and you fall asleep... you are in
a dream), U (beach), GET SPADE, U (middle of huge baseball diamond), DIG (find an autographed
baseball), GET BASEBALL, W (floating in sea where you see a platinum surfboard), GET SURFBOARD, N
(cylindrical pool where a diamond necklace shimmers under the water), GET NECKLACE (you
can't... you return to the video room), E, S, E.
N, N, N, E, N (typing room), EXAMINE TYPEWRITERS, EXAMINE FRIEND (your best friend joins you), S, W,
S (yard), CLIMB TREE (best friend must be with you... you are in Magic Faraway Land), N (front of a
forbidding castle), E (gingerbread house), EXAMINE HOUSE, EAT HOUSE, LOOK (see a sapphire ring), GET
RING, EXAMINE RING, S (giant field of poppies), EXAMINE POPPIES (find something), LOOK (see a
diploma), GET DIPLOMA (don't hang around or you will be overcome by the fumes of the deadly
poppies), W, EXAMINE DIPLOMA, ALGEBRA (you feel yourself shrinking... you are on a circuit board
inside a computer where you see a silver transistor), GET TRANSISTOR (you take all your lost
property to the Vice-Principal's office... he is so pleased that he allows you to leave school
4329 microseconds early!)
