Leaving his house, Max thinks of his past and goes to "look for himself" in the fog,
getting lost along the way.

belly), OPEN FISH (inside is a silver key), GET KEY, EXAMINE KEY (property of Motel 6), READ KEY
(inscribed wisdom), E (foggy street), N (burning forest), LOOK, N (raging fire), LOOK (surrounded by
flames), E (the patch), LOOK, INVENTORY (there is now an intermission).

E (study), GET BOOK, EXAMINE BOOK (has a small silver lock), UNLOCK BOOK WITH KEY, OPEN BOOK (you
cannot read it however), S (the parlour), LOOK, E (the hospital), LOOK, N (foggy street), W
(grandfather's bedroom), LOOK, GET CIGAR, EXAMINE CIGAR, E (foggy street), N (cobble street),
