PART 1
(Start in your single room at the inn), EXAMINE BED (hear a loud banging noise), LOUN BED (find a
block of incense), GET INCENSE, EXAMINE INCENSE, SEARCH BED (find a square of cloth), GET CLOTH,
EXAMINE CLOTH, LISTEN (the noise is coming from the door), OPEN DOOR (the landlord wants the rent
and as you don't have it throws you out), W, IN (temple), EXAMINE ALTAR, EXAMINE RUG (see a
priest who asks if you have come to be blessed), YES (he holds his hand out for your offering), GIVE
INCENSE (you are blessed and escorted out), N, W (outside shop), ENTER SHOP (a woman gives you a
bottle and you return to the street), EXAMINE BOTTLE.

N, N, E (nobles way where a man is about to be run down by a wagon), PUSH MAN (you save him and he
gives you a coin), W (don't hang around and don't go north yet), EXAMINE COIN, S, E, N
(alley), EXAMINE BARRELS, LISTEN (hear scratching), LOUN BARREL, GET MOUSE, EXAMINE MOUSE, S, ENTER
(to inn - a gambling game is going on in the corner), PLAY GAME (you win), INVENTORY (now have a bag
of money), EXAMINE BAG, BUY DRINK, EXAMINE MAN, TALK TO MAN (his tankard is empty), GET DRINK, GIVE
DRINK TO MAN (you tell him of your plan and he asks if you have found your magic man yet), BUY
DRINK, GET DRINK, GIVE DRINK TO MAN (he tells you to look in a book in the librarium and gives you
something), INVENTORY (it was a picklock), EXAMINE PICKLOCK, OUT.

W, W, N, N (librarium), OPEN DOOR (no key), PICK LOCK (you are warned off), EXAMINE DOOR, READ NOTE,
S, S, W, S (outside house), EXAMINE BUILDING (the front door is closed - see a knocker), EXAMINE
KNOCKER, KNOCK ON DOOR (a young girl opens it and asks what you want), GIVE MOUSE TO GIRL (she runs
off leaving the door open... you enter to a hallway - note don't go east into the bedroom yet),
W (kitchen), EXAMINE TABLE (see a glass of warm milk), EXAMINE STOVE (it's still warm), POUR
LIQUID (into the glass... you hear a noise), E, S (painter's room), EXAMINE MURAL (you discover
a door east and a curtain covering a passage west), E (comfy room), EXAMINE BOOKCASE, EXAMINE BOOKS,
EXAMINE TABLE, EXAMINE FIREPLACE (see nothing but soot), EXAMINE CHAIRS, LOBE TABLE (find a left
glove), GET LEFT GLOVE, EXAMINE LEFT GLOVE, W, W (bare room), EXAMINE BUCKET, SEARCH BUCKET (find
the right glove), GET RIGHT GLOVE, E, N, E (the figure in here is snoring if you have visited the
kitchen first), EXAMINE FIGURE, EXAMINE MAN (beside him is a small key), GET KEY (you return to the
street), EXAMINE KEY.

E, N, N (outside librarium), UNLOCK DOOR (using the key you open it and enter), LISTEN (hear a
scratching noise which leads you to a padlocked book), EXAMINE SHELF, EXAMINE PADLOCK, EXAMINE BOOK
(it's the WIB), PICK LOCK, GET WIB (you get a shock), WEAR GLOVES, GET WIB (you leave before
someone catches you), S, S, S, ENTER SHOP (an old man asks if he can help you), YES, GIVE WIB (he
needs his specs first), OUT.

N, E (market), EXAMINE FOOD, BUY FOOD (you will pick it up later), EXAMINE WEAPONS, EXAMINE SLAVES,
EXAMINE HORSE (don't buy it yet), E, S (beggar's walk), EXAMINE BEGGAR, GIVE BAG (you give
him a coin and in return he make a small mark upon your head to protect you), INVENTORY (you now
have the un-evil eye and it will be safe to go down by the river), W, W, W, W, W (by river), SEARCH
(you notice a path leading down), D, GET SPECS, EXAMINE SPECS, EXAMINE RIVER, SWIM, WALK RIVER, U,
E, E, S, IN (see old man), GIVE SPECS (he reads the WIB and tells you the address of the nearest
wizard... you leave), N, E (market), BUY HORSE (you retrieve your purchases and mount your new
horse... you approach the town gate which is closing), DUCK (Congratulations you have finished Part
1... the wizard's name is DORE).

PART 2
(The wizard Dore tells you that his spellbook has been stolen and taken to the castle, so you set
off to find it... you are riding along an open road), W (bank of stream), EXAMINE STREAM, SEARCH
(see a bowl shaped leaf), DISMOUNT, GET LEAF, EXAMINE LEAF, GET WATER, E, N (village), EXAMINE
HOVELS, E (hut), EXAMINE POTTERY, EXAMINE FURNITURE, SEARCH (find and put on a leather apron),
EXAMINE APRON, SEARCH (you uncover a large sling used for carrying animals), GET SLING, EXAMINE
SLING, W, W (to another hut), EXAMINE BED (an old lady is on the bed asking for water), EXAMINE
WOMAN, GIVE WATER (she tells you of a secret passage and how to access it... you leave), N, EXAMINE
FIELDS, HELP (apparently the villagers died of a disease), N, W, W, W (castle doors where a troll
throws an axe at you, but fortunately it misses), GET AXE, EXAMINE AXE, E, E, E, E (old battle
site), EXAMINE TREES, CHOP SAPLING (using axe), GET SAPLING, W, W, EXAMINE HUT, N, IN (hut), WEAR
GLOVES (to stoop you catching the plague), EXAMINE DOG, GET DOG, OUT, S.

W, W (castle doors), EXAMINE DOORS, EXAMINE WALLS (see a long vine climbing up the wall), PULL VINE
(a heavy stone falls), GET VINE, EXAMINE VINE, MAKE CATAPULT (you jam the sapling into the earth by
the boulder and hang the sling from the forked end... you now have a makeshift catapult), LOAD
CATAPULT (you place the carcass into the sling), FIRE CATAPULT (the trolls fight over the carcass...
a sudden storm hits and you take shelter... you emerge and there is no sign of the trolls), SEARCH
(you uncover the opening to the castle sewers... a short tunnel leads inside), IN (tunnel - a metal
grille blocks the way), EXAMINE GRILLE, TIE VINE TO GRILLE, OUT, TIE VINE (you tie it to Storm who
pulls out the grille), IN (tunnel).

W (castle courtyard - the tunnel collapses and there is no way back), EXAMINE TROLLS, SEARCH (find
the corner mentioned by the old woman, but it is blocked by a dead horse), U (battlements), EXAMINE
LOG, SEARCH (you discover an iron key), GET KEY, EXAMINE KEY, PULL VINE (you pull the free end up
and then down into the courtyard), D (courtyard), TIE VINE (around the horse), U, PUSH LOG (it falls
dragging the dead horse out of the way... you enter the corner of the courtyard), TWIST SCONCE (a
block in the wall swings open revealing a secret passage... as you enter the stone closes behind
you).

EXAMINE STAIRS (see a trap and carefully step over it... you are at the top of the stairs by a heavy
oak door), EXAMINE DOOR, UNLOCK DOOR (using key... you enter to the treasure room - note however DO
NOT take any treasure, otherwise when you leave down the rope it will break and the game will end),
SEARCH (see a concealed doorway west), W (you are told only those who lie are allowed to pass),
EXAMINE DARKNESS, CRAWL DOWN PASSAGE (something cuts through the air above you, but you emerge
safely into a smaller room), EXAMINE ALCOVE, GET SPELLBOOK (wizard's), EXAMINE SPELLBOOK, GET
ROPE, EXAMINE ROPE, E (back to treasure room), EXAMINE GEMS, EXAMINE WINDOW (see an iron ring set
into the frame), EXAMINE RING, TIE ROPE (to the ring), D (you climb out and return to the wizard
Dore happy with a second success - Congratulations you have finished Part 2... on is way back to the
wizard Og passes through the village of Tachi).

PART 3
(For the final quest you must rob death - you start on a gravel path at the foot of a hill), W, W
(river bank), S, EXAMINE ROCK, GET MIRROR, EXAMINE MIRROR, N, EXAMINE BANK (see jetty), EXAMINE
JETTY (note there is a lot of wood about), EXAMINE FRAME (for a gong), EXAMINE GONG, HIT GONG, WAIT,
WAIT (a boat appears with a cloaked figure in the bow), EXAMINE CHARON, TALK CHARON, SHINE MIRROR
(you hold it in front of the ferry person and true to myths and legends you've heard, he
crumbles to dust leaving only his cloak), GET CLOAK, EXAMINE CLOAK.

N (to where the path stops at a high bank of thorns), EXAMINE FOG, EXAMINE MIST, EXAMINE THORNS
(sharp), SEARCH (see hammer), WRAP CLOAK AROUND HAND (you reach in and take the hammer), S, REMOVE
BOARDS (using the hammer), GET GONG, E (path), EXAMINE PATH, GET SIGNPOST, EXAMINE SIGNPOST, E,
EXAMINE HILL (adorned by a row of cross shaped tress), EXAMINE TREES (you walk up the hill for a
closer look and discover they are crucifixes and occupied), EXAMINE CROSSES (note the rusty nails),
REMOVE NAILS (using the hammer), D, W, W, S, EXAMINE RIVER (find a punt with a large hole in the
bottom), EXAMINE PUNT, REPAIR PUNT (using the hammer, nails and wood), EXAMINE PUNT, SAIL PUNT
(using the post you sail across the river... you enter a wall of complete blackness), ........ (type
any direction until Somnus, twin of death, asks you to amuse him... he asks the name of the sphere
with four corners), EARTH (now what am I if I'm green and a house or if I am black and a
house"), FLY (a number of men died in the village...), 16 (well done you have shown that you
have intelligence and may pass safely... you find yourself at the entrance to a maze of tunnels).

W (into maze), S, W, N, W, W, GET FEMUR (right), S, E, S, GET AXE, E, E, S, GET TIBIA (human), W, S,
W, GET RIB, W, EXAMINE STALAGMITE (see something inside), HIT STALAGMITE (using the back of the axe
- you smash it to rubble), EXAMINE RUBBLE (find a ring), EXAMINE RING, W (wide courtyard where you
meet Cerberus's three puppies), EXAMINE CERBERUS, THROW BONES (one to each dog... you slip past
them and find yourself before the imposing building), EXAMINE DOOR, SLIDE DOOR (you enter to a short
tunnel).

EXAMINE LAVA, INVERT GONG (you hold it over your head and run underneath the lava flow... you are at
the end of the corridor which is filled with spikes and impassable), WEAR RING (you feel a
tingling), GO SPIKES (must be wearing the ring - you go through a door into a room filled with
hourglasses), EXAMINE HOURGLASSES (each has a name on it), SEARCH (the sand has nearly run out in
your glass), USE POST (you turn the hourglass over just in time... you enter a comfortable room
where you meet death), EXAMINE CHEST, EXAMINE DEATH (he has is back to you), TALK DEATH (he gives
you the chest of coins and you find yourself on the outskirts of Hades), EXAMINE CHEST, HELP (you
have a magic ring on your finger), HELP, MAKE WISH (you vanish from the underworld and reappear in
the lounge of the Wizard Dore).
