old man sits in a back booth), Q WAITRESS, Q MAN (Joe West), LEAVE, S, S, ENTER STATION (police),
EXAMINE STATION, Q SERGEANT (he says your man is in the holding cell), ENTER CELL, Q RICK (he
professes his innocence), LEAVE, LEAVE, N.

E, ENTER HOME (Warner), EXAMINE HOME (see shoes, clothes and an unusual mantle clock), EXAMINE SHOES
(muddy), EXAMINE CLOTHES (rain gear and a hunting coat), EXAMINE HOME, EXAMINE POP (Warner - he is
nervous), Q POP (he is angry at the bank), EXAMINE COAT (red plaid), GET COAT, EXAMINE COAT (the
sleeve is torn), EXAMINE CLOCK, EXAMINE HOME (Pop has disappeared), EXAMINE CLOTHES (only the rain
gear), LEAVE.

E, EXAMINE SHACK (a small sign reads Service No. 7), ENTER SHACK, EXAMINE SHACK, EXAMINE CLUTTER
(clots of mud), EXAMINE WALLS, EXAMINE FLOOR, LIFT FLOORING (an old mine tunnel begins here), ENTER
TUNNEL, EXAMINE TUNNEL, FOLLOW TUNNEL, EXAMINE TUNNEL (there is a strange construction here),
EXAMINE CONSTRUCTION (it's new and there's a trapdoor and a key), GET KEY, OPEN TRAPDOOR,
ENTER TRAPDOOR (you find yourself in the bank vault), EXAMINE VAULT (there's a piece of cloth
snagged here), EXAMINE CLOTH (it's red plaid), GET CLOTH, ENTER TRAPDOOR, FOLLOW TUNNEL (back
to shack), LEAVE.,

W, W, W, W, ENTER LIVERY, EXAMINE LIVERY (animals for rent), RENT MULE, LEAVE, ENTER TRAIL, D (base
of chasm), TIE MULE, S, S (scrub growth), EXAMINE ROCK, EXAMINE TUMBLEWEED (you see an opening in
the rock), EXAMINE OPENING, ENTER PASSAGE (as you enter you kick a lantern), GET LANTERN, LIGHT
LANTERN, EXAMINE ROOM, EXAMINE TRACKS (skunk, possum and human), EXAMINE HOLE, ENTER HOLE (to a
smaller cavern chamber), EXAMINE CHAMBER (there is a trunk at the back but leave it for now), LEAVE,
ENTER HOLE (this time you see Pop Warner), ARREST POP (he protests but will go with you), UNLOCK
TRUNK, OPEN TRUNK (there's a bag in it), GET BAG, EXAMINE BAG, (labeled C.N.B. - full of cash),
LEAVE, LEAVE, N, N (base of cavern), GET MULE,  E, U (back to canyon rim), EXAMINE RIM (it's a
long drop to the bottom), ENTER LIVERY, RETURN MULE, LEAVE, E, E, S, ENTER STATION (police).
