(You begin outside your bungalow) LIFT MAT (mentioned in intro text. You find a key), GET
KEY, UNLOCK DOOR, OPEN DOOR, GO DOOR, GET GLASSES, WEAR GLASSES, GO
DOOR, E, GET SPADE, DIG (you find some magazines), GET MAGS, READ MAGS (you find a
password – the mags fall apart), DROP SPADE, DROP PAPER, W, S, S, W, S, GO SHOP, BUY
FOOD (don't try to steal it!), LEAVE SHOP, E (you must carry the food here), N, WAKE JACK,
TALK JACK * 2 (he gives you a hint), GET TOOLS, S, E, N, GET APPLE, N, E, E, S, W, DROP
KEY, DROP SHOPPINGS (i.e. your food), E, E, ENTER OFFICE (the door needs repair), MEND
DOOR (with the tools), DROP TOOLS, ENTER OFFICE, PRESS BUTTON (you are prompted for
a code), code (type the one found in the magazine), ENTER OFFICE, GET CASSETTE, LEAVE
OFFICE, GO DOOR, W, N, W, W, N, N, GO VOLVO, INSERT CASSETTE (in the stereo),
PLAY CASSETTE (now you are given a hint on where to find the entrance to the next part. It could
be in any of the locations you've visited so far. So, make your way to the STRANGE SHAPE).
Into the shape:
ENTER SHAPE (it moves away), CLOSE EYES (you did it!), W, GIVE FLOWERS (the farmers
lets you pass), N, GIVE APPLE (to pacify the horse), GET TICKET, SEARCH HAY (you find
some money), GET MONEY, S, W, S, CROSS ROAD (using the stripes), WAIT (a bus arrives),
GET ON BUS (you spend your ticket), W, W (you're at a familiar house), KNOCK WINDOW
(Sarah comes out but doesn't recognize you), SAY SILVER (now she wants to go home), E, E,
WAIT, GET ON BUS (paying with the money), CROSS ROAD, N, E, E, S (you're back in the
normal world. Make your way to your house), GO DOOR (you've made it back with Sarah –
congratulations!)
Notes:
1. The pot is of no use
2. Don't take the stone in the barn!
3. I never really understood the bit about saying SILVER to Sarah, though HELP gives a hint.
Maybe this refers to something in the manual?
