Referring to the posts in the forum, I've tried to solve this adventure and I did it! As mentioned earlier, there are some differences between the PC and the Spectrum version:

- instead the matchbox (PC) you have to buy the pocket lighter (Spectrum) at the market
- in the PC version you have to hide the ring from thieves at the beginning of Part 2; in the Spectrum version
this is not necessary

The Spectrum version is easier to complete because it's possible to fill the oil lamp twice (and there's still enough petroleum in the bottle to pour it over the moss), so you can pick up the item you need from the temple without problems.
The PC version is harder to play because you have only four matches and less petroleum; the mean problem is the limited number of turns until the matches and the oil lamp go out, so you must not make any typos. There is no time to examine the altar for the first time to discover the moss.
