John R. Olsen Jr of Newberg, Oregon, USA. Not to be confused with John Olson who was writing games on similar platforms during the same periods of time.

John R. Olsen Jr was a middle school maths and computer teacher, and prolific author of adventure games. His work includes early TRS-80 titles written in BASIC, games for the C64 produced using the Quill/Adventure Writer, and later works produced with 16-bit systems, such as TACL and Visionary (for which he wrote a companion guidebook).
