In this game you have to escape from a Nazi prison camp. There are two different ways to escape from the camp and therefore two different ways to solve the game. Your first escape always fails and you'll have to try again. Because you are only allowed to walk around in the camp during daylight and a lot of times you only have a few turns before you are captured by the guards (often only seven turns in each location), it’s quite a puzzle to solve it without being captured. Luckily the game does not end when you are captured.
Notes
According to adverts, the game was released on a disk compilation of four David Moffatt adventures by Free Spirit Software (c.1988).
The Keypunch Software release was apparently unofficial and led to a legal dispute between them and Free Spirit. Keypunch eventually legally licenced the titles.
The puzzles are not very hard to solve and you can get lots of hints from the other prisoners. However the guards staying on your tail everywhere make it a challenge to solve all the puzzles and escape from the camp.
game is in two parts, on the run is the 2nd part. parser is better than writers other game Yukon. getting caught is a nightmare as you have to collect all your gear again, but apart from that a pretty good game overall
