Synopsis

Plot

You seek to undertake an epic quest for fortune and adventure, in a cave of mystical wonders deep underground. Instead, what you will encounter here is a tedious slog through the dilapidated underbelly of a major metropolitan area (probably a sewer), as you collect discarded items of dubious value and face adversaries that are more annoying than lethal. Strap in for excitement!

Notes

Originally written in BASIC in 1984 on a TRS-80 Model 4.

In 2002 the author produced a version for DOS PC using GW-BASIC and used that to make a QuickBASIC version for DOS & Windows 98.

The author revisited the game again in 2023 using QB64 and that version is available to download on the author's website. This new version runs on modern systems such as Windows PC.
