Formed by ex-employees of Sigma Distributing, Ultrasoft was set up by Larry Franks in 1982.
The Ultrasoft games used a modular adventure system for their game series. Their Ultracompiler generated Ultracode. Graphics were produced with a piece of software called Ultravision.
