You are but a lowly shepherd boy, tending your sheep one crisp winter's evening. You have always dreamed of performing great deeds to the glory of the Lord! But perhaps on this day you may find more adventure than you bargained for...

This was written by Iain Merrick using the pseudonym of 'Arthur Tavistock Jnr'.

This is one of the games that was written with the Advanced Authoring System (AAS) released on 1 April 2003. Although the AAS project is nowadays considered to be a "hoax", it included a complete editor and interpreter written in Java, a specification of the file format used for the XML source code, a user manual and a web site. In fact, it is more thoroughly documented than some of the "serious" adventure authoring systems and it was all done in one month!
