Originally an Apple II game, published as Poe Adventure on issue 40 of Softdisk in early 1985.The original Apple adventures was by Jim Menick. Alan W. Gardner was responsible for the later C64 port.

Game was written bij Jim Menick and revised for the c64 by Alan Gardner according tot he c64 version.
That makes sense as Jim Menick is credited for other early Softdisk work too.
Very enjoyable game if you are a Poe adept like myself, unfortunately the c64 version contained a few bugs one of them preventing you to finish the game. I’ve made a fixed version, solving the most important bugs.
