Synopsis

Plot

Layna Speedy is used to things going wrong. For starters her job is to try to 'clean up' things that have gone absolutely wrong. Things like ships infected with xenomorphs that have to be wiped out. Things like whole colonies that could spread 'evil' to the rest of the Republic. Things that simply have to be recycled. And in a job like this a lot of things don't go well every day. Xenomorphs who are innocent settlers, settlers who are stinking xenomorphs, buildings collapsing at the wrong time, nuclear warheads that don't explode when they have to...

They're normal things, you don't have to hate them, it's part of the job at the end of the day...

However, Layna hates having to jump in a lifeboat.

When you jump in a lifeboat in the middle of space it's just wrong and it can only get worse...
