Synopsis

Plot

Somebody has stolen Large Ears' car. As he's your best friend, you set out to find the culprit. When you're sure you've found the right person, you must report it to P.C. Pleb. If you've picked the right person, you'll be rewarded and everyone in Funland will like you. But if you pick the wrong person...

Notes

Published as a type-in listing in Creating adventure programs on the ZX Spectrum by Peter Shaw and James Mortleman, pp. 89-101, and in Creating Adventures on Your BBC Micro by Peter Shaw and Stuart McCrae, pp. 98-113, as "Shoddy in Funtown".

It is clearly based on the Noddy in Toyland books by Enid Blyton, except that Noddy becomes Shoddy, Toyland becomes Funland, Big-Ears becomes Large Ears, P.C. Plod becomes P.C Pleb and so on. In fact, there are at least three places where the author forgot to change the names (and he spelt P.C. Plod incorrectly).
