Synopsis

Plot

Your name's Dirk Justice. You're 48 years old and until this morning you were a senior police detective in Grittyville.
You're a no-nonsense sonofagun who doesn't play by the rules but gets results and lets his gun do the talking, and your gun's not known for subtle conversation. You're a cigar-smoking gun-collector who kicks down every door he meets. You're a loose cannon on the edge, unafraid to rock the boat or upset the apple-cart. You eat cliche for breakfast and tropes for supper.
Things aren't going so well for you at the moment. Last night you took down Mr. Big's bodyguards during a massive heroin deal single-handedly and arrested the man himself. Only you hadn't counted on the DA charging you for pulling a major arrest without a warrant.
Now you're looking at suspension at best, possible criminal charges at worst. Mr. Big walked away, free as a bird. The chief has taken your badge and your service piece. They even kindly drove round to your place and divested you of your shotgun, uzi, M60 assault rifle, grenade launcher, machete and rocket launcher. They even took the mousetrap from behind your fridge.
You're not going to let this stand. You figure you've got 24 hours max before your freedom is revoked. Time enough to clean these streets of scum.
Right now you're where you usually wake up. In your front room, your head throbbing with a familiar bourbon hangover.
The standard noises of the city at night filter out from your window - tyres squealing, gunshots, windows breaking.
Time to get started.
