AMULET, the MAGUS adventure language, includes the following system commands:

*QUIT Leave the game.
*HELP Display list of recognised verbs.
*SAVE Save current game position to tape/disc.
*LOAD (*RESTORE) Load a game position from tape/disc.
*CAT List files on tape/disc.
*KEY 0 to 9 Set function key 0-9 to enter instructions.
*PON Send data to printer and screen.
*POFF Send data to screen only.

The system appears to have been used to produced adventures for both the BBC Micro and the Amstrad CPC.
