I have never managed to get this to run in any version of Altirra.

I finally got this running in Xformer 10 and it was worth the effort as this is one of the best Atari XL/800 specific adventures I have ever come across. It is pretty tough but engrossing, so far anyway.

This is a very tough challenge. I have got to 410 points (out of how many I don't know) but it is good enough to make me keep trying. It is thoroughly recommended if you embrace difficult puzzlefests.

Yup, this one's as nasty as they come. You find an object...it's folded up. Take it and unfold it....the pieces drift away and the game is unsolvable. The number of unwinnable states that you can put this game into is getting larger and larger. The author worked on this for two years and I feel I have spent nearly that long on it myself. I must try something easier like blindfold juggling.

980 points and still we go on....with no end in sight. I was stymied for ages at an oasis, until I happened to try a non-intuitive direction via a command that is illogical for the location and it opened up a new section of the game; one of the few weak spots so far. That was followed by a large maze with ten different directions to be mapped from each location. I subsequently joined forces with another grizzled adventurer (in the game that is) who has just killed himself using a dodgy home-made rope and I'm stuck again.
