Dragon versions of this game and Diamond Trail were planned and Tim Gilberts spent a day transcoding the Z80 instructions to 6809 code, only to discover that the program save failed. The development of other Gilsoft programs meant that Tim could not spare enough time to revisit this project during the period when the Dragon still had a viable market.
Graeme Yeandle later produced a DOS version of the game, running under his PC version of PAW.
An unofficial conversion of the 1983 ZX Spectrum version is available for Atari 400/800; ported by devwebcl. There is also another version dated 2005, by John E., that has nicer formatting.

This has historical interest as it was possibly the first commercial adventure made with the Quill, by the latter's very author (it was marketed on its own, slightly before The Gold Collection). It is somewhat crude and short, and built more to illustrate the Quill's facilities.
