Synopsis

Plot

And just what do you think you're doing? Eh? Come on! Answer me", shouts the King of Xaan, angrily.

"Water... Water", you cry, feebly, and gaze up at the King.

"Stealing my water, were you, dog! You know what I do to thieves, don't you? I lock them in my keep for a while", laughs the King, evilly.

"How long a while? I'm very thirsty", you croak, touching your cracked lips.

"I'm not sure", replies the King, "Until you rot, probably", and he orders for you to be cast into prison!

So begin your adventures on the Island of Xaan...

Notes

This seems to be the first Robico adventure. It has similar concepts and style to the later adventures, but less internal consistency. It doesn't have many real puzzles, most challenges being object management and working out what to do.

Still fun, but it could've been a lot better.

Not what I would have expected from Robico. I quote:

You find a toolshed.
"Examine toolshed."
You find a shovel.
"Examine shovel."
You can't see the shovel.
"Examine toolshed."
You find a shovel.
"Take shovel."
The shovel is out of reach!

I just don't dig it man.

The shovel problem would surely be an Olympic podium finish in the "most contrived puzzle" contest. Quite why you can't take it in the first place is never explained. The toolshed must be the world's only levitating building.
