US company founded by Mark Pelczarski that produced several adventures for multiple platforms. The company initially published under the Penguin Software name, but after receiving several cease & desist letters from the lawyers of Penguin Books, they changed their name to Polarware. Their graphics tool, The Graphics Magician, was used by a large number of companies in the early 1980's to create images for adventure games.
