Deposited in another realm by an evil wizard, you must explore weird new places to find and collect his 12 treasures. Then, in order to go home, locate the evil wizard before you meet an unpleasant end!
This game unusually parses "search" but not "examine" although it only works on room descriptions. It is large with a surreal selection of landscapes and better put together than a lot of the BBC releases of the time; Ian Muriss appears to be something of a maze fetishist as I have found five already and nine of the twelve treasures although the going is getting noticeably harder the deeper I get into the thing. If you fancy a pretty tough old fashioned treasure hunt you could do a lot worse.
Oh dear, after fighting my way grimly through to what I think is near the end of the game I fear I have hit an unsolvable bug. When you enter the second computer room (after solving the puzzle in the first one) you are confronted by a guard. If you give him the food, he asks for some more and, as you have no more to give, he kills you. The correct modus operandum is to poison the food first, whereupon he falls dead at your feet. Unfortunately, the flag doesn't appear to reset so he is still described as alive after dying. The whole game is surreal so it is just possible it is intentional.

The guard puzzle is a bug; fortunately however you can still carry on.
