Synopsis

An adventure in the Old West. Journey back with us into the days of Jessie James and Billy the Kid where the only form of justice was a loaded revolver and a hangman's noose. In this full-length text adventure, you play the role of Bounty Hunter, battling against ruthless outlaws, hostile indians, wild animals and the elements of the wilderness with only your wits and your six gun.

Notes

Available for C64 and Vic-20 (8K/16K) at least as early as 1983 as it's mentioned in an October 1983 advert in Micro no.65.

The Coleco Adam version dates from 1984.

There is a version available for Plus4 that seems to be an official version as it includes very basic copy-protection (Type POKE 1351,1 (or enter >547 1) before running the game).

There is a Plus4 version from 1984. You can download it here: https://plus4world.powweb.com/software/Bounty_Hunter

But as there is a "copy protection", you have to enter a poke before launching the game: "Type POKE 1351,1 (or enter >547 1) before running the game. (The game uses a primitive copy protection scheme, and checks this memory cell while running. If it is zero, the game will not work.)"
