Synopsis

Plot

This mystery is Infocom's final all-text adventure and takes a different tack to usual. You view the events through the eyes of Dr. Watson rather than those of Holmes. That's because Holmes' eternal nemesis Moriarty has set a trap for him, so Watson spearheads the investigation of the missing Crown Jewels.

Yeah, so it's little more than a treasure hunt, but the atmosphere is spot on and some of the puzzles are really clever.

True, and unlike so many adventures set in "London", this one's topography actually works out as London's. So many games get that wrong, which is jarring if you've been there and love the city. Sherlock gets it right, which is pleasant.
