Originally published as a type-in for TRS-80 CoCo in The Third Rainbow book of Adventures, pp.48-56, published in 1987 by Falsoft, Inc.

The game's listing states that it was written in February 1985 for the Rainbow Adventure Contest.

The game was later (unofficially) ported to the C64 by Nathan Butcher.
