Synopsis

The object of the game is to prevent an evil incarnate called Demoniak from entering your universe. To do this you have to build a bomb. You have been summoned by the scientist Dr Cortex. He has assembled a team of superheroes in order to find all the needed parts to build the bomb.

What's special about this game is that you can become almost all of the 55 characters inside the game. This appears to make the game fairly easy (for instance you can let the guards kill each other), but actually it makes it more difficult because certain actions only take place when you are a specific character.

The picture of Proteus can only been seen on the pc version if you play in CGA or EGA mode. In SVGA mode the picture is corrupt, but it doesn't affect playing the game. I've uploaded the EGA picture of Proteus for the persons who don't know how to play a game in EGA mode.
