In this tidy little adventure you begin lost in fog on the moors. You must find the good Doctor's house, which of course contains his time machine, and use this to rescue him.
In your travels you will go back to prehistoric times, visit ancient Egypt and sail on an historic ghost ship.
The second Mysterious Adventure, once again this is a fairly simple problem solver over a relatively small map. It is also very well laid out and a pleasure to solve. I completed this on a long train journey and only hit one really tricky point which took a bit of experimentation.
I'm looking forward to playing more of this series as, so far, both have been engaging and well rounded adventures.

Parser/Vocabulary (Rating: 7/10)

Solid enough two word entry.

Atmosphere (Rating: 8/10)

Pretty good, there is an enjoyable sense of travelling through different eras.

Cruelty (Rating: Merciful)

Very little in the way of unexpected deaths or unescapable dead ends.

Puzzles (Rating: 8/10)

Very logical and pleasing to solve, there is one really tricky part, but you'll get there with thought and experiment.

Overall (Rating: 8/10)

I'm not feeling this series is one for the adventurer who wants severe difficulty, but for someone who wants enjoyable diversion that is decently challenging I think this game is a cracker.
