Collect as much treasure as you can without being killed. Your score increases as your success rate increases. The maximum score possible is 1024 points. The game begins with you standing on a road running from East to West. Nearby is a cabin which you have rented from the innkeeper of the 'Sword Inn'. Where you go and what you do is up to you. The best of luck...
Notes
The game was one of the early efforts to create NPCs in adventure games.
In 2006, the game was made available for Nokia phones via British publisher Silicon Magic.
One of the closest to Level 9 adventures in terms of scale and complexity: although a mere treasure quest, the task is made quite difficult by the planning needed and the NPCs going around taking objects at random. The map is large (short of 190 locations), connections are tangled, and both strength and thirst need to be managed. The Spectrum version is slightly different from C64 and BBC versions as it replaces a few details, so walkthroughs not specific to this version do not allow for total completion with the 1024 points. If you want a challenging classic treasure quest, you could do worse than tackling this one.
