A collection of eight short adventures set in the town of Punster, each adventure involves a different type of wordplay. Apart from the setting and the use of wordplay the games are independent of each other, and seven of the adventures can be played in any order. Completing these adventures gives passwords and once you have all seven passwords you may play the eighth.

This isn't even a text adventure, it's a series of puns. And many of them are unguessable, or maybe only guessable if you're from the USA. Disappointing.

I guess somebody thought the baseball puzzle from Zork II was such a terrific idea that they should expand in to an entire game ;)

Richard, you are right that it helps if English is your first language, and even better if you are familiar with American idioms (for example, being British I had never heard of the phrase 'deep six' before I played this game - thank goodness for the built-in help), so I am not surprised that you found much of the game unguessable. That said, I agree with you that the game is disappointing, though it is an interesting concept.

I have never understood the title of this game. It seems there's a pun in there, but I cannot figure out what it is. Can anybody help me get the joke? Thanks!!
