Synopsis

Plot

As an intrepid tabloid reporter, the player must sneak around Vandenberg Air Force Base, avoiding the guards and surveillance cameras long enough to disarm a terrorist bomb meant to blow up the space shuttle.

Notes

There's a lot of pressure early on - once the security systems are disarmed and the maddeningly twisty map figured out, the puzzles are fairly straightforward.

This was originally published in ANALOG Computing, issue 27, February 1985, pp. 73–76, 78–80. It was created by Tom Hudson based on Brian Moriarty's code for Adventure in the 5th Dimension!. It was inspired by the space shuttle complex at Vandenberg Air Force Base.

There was a unofficial contest about solving this game (translated to Spanish) in a Chilean newsletter.
