Synopsis

Plot

This adventure takes place in the old west in the late 1800s, a west which is terrorised by the notorious outlaw gang, the Daltons. There were four of them: Emmett, Bob, Bill and Grat. Your job, as sheriff, is to capture, jail or kill these boys. There are also other things you'll have to do in order to gain a perfect score and, above all, don't let the Daltons escape from jail.

Notes

This was adventure #18 in the SoftSide Adventure of the Month Club subscription service. It was released in November 1982 and first advertised in SoftSide magazine, issue 35, vol. 6, no. 2, November 1982, p. 89.

The title is not referred to in the game itself. It is called 'Dalton' in the instructions and 'The Dalton Gang' in the original advertisement. These were written by SoftSide staff, not the original author, but the former is considered to be the correct title.

This is loosely based on the exploits of the Dalton gang.
