Your uncle, the famous Hollywood B-movie director Buddy Burbank, has passed away and you, his favourite nephew, is all set to inherit his fortune. But in order to do so, you must explore his Hollywood home and find ten "treasures" (props from his movies) in one night. Fail to do so and your inheritance will be gone.
Notes
Hollywood Hijinx is a puzzle and treasure fest much like Zork I. It is somewhat shorter than many other Infocom titles of the era.
The original concept for the game came from Liz Cyr-Jones, whereas the actual game was written by Dave Anderson (his only for Infocom).
I dunno. It's not actually bad as such, but the humour just didn't gel with me. I tried to like it, but I couldn't.
