Synopsis
You are an ambitious young acolyte of an ancient temple, from which an invaluable relic has recently stolen. Incensed by the theft, the priests ask for volunteers to retrieve the precious object - a magical golden orb which is unique in all the world. Furious at the crime you agree instantly to take any risk to retrieve the orb which is believed to have been taken to the caves of an evil, but long dead magician far away across the desert. Your destination was long ago hidden from mortal eyes by the works of the magician, and may now only be found by magical means. Though the high priest of your temple has the lore to send you, he knows of no sure way to bring you back. Even so you agree to go and the sending is done...

This is an excellent old game which bears more than a passing resemblance to the old Phoenix mainframe classics of days gone by. It is certainly professionally done and a shame that the author remains unknown due to (we presume) self effacement. It weighs in at over 200 locations and has many tough and rewarding puzzles.
