A princess has been kidnapped from the land of Serenia by an evil wizard. The King has sent out a request to all people for help in rescuing his daughter and offers half his kingdom to the person that can bring her back to Serenia. You play an unnamed adventurer who sets out to find the princess.
Notes
This was the first adventure game with colour graphics.
The game is often seen as the predecessor of Sierra's hugely successful King's Quest series.
The PC version was sold under the name Adventure in Serenia by IBM.
Other than the colour graphics part, this tale of saving a princess from a wizard - with its crude graphics and clunky Sierra parser - has very little going for it.
Has not aged well, but I still find it more playable than later efforts such as Ulysses. The infamous desert puzzle is in fact fair and doable, only annoying. At least Roberta Williams tried experimenting a bit with puzzles here, which is commendable, despite the general roughness of the game. For an added challenge, find the Kitchen!

Also released on the IBM PC.
The Solution by ? is weak, many errors, leads you to dead ends, follow the solution by THayes if you want to complete it!
A classic from the early of Sierra. Interesting and fun to play :)
