Originally produced in BASIC for the TRS-80 in 1980, based on a story that the author had written the previous year.

The author ported the game to IBM PC using GWBASIC in 1983.

The game was rewritten by the author for .NET in 2012.

A port to QBASIC was produced by Ambat Sasi.

(Dorothy Millard's solution makes reference to a PC BASIC version by Richard Tucker. It's unclear if this is an error.)
